Color Pencils

Children use color pencils to create fun and bright art projects. In some cases these projects are simple pictures. In other cases the art projects are elaborate drawings or sketches.

Children are not the only people who use color pencils. They are also used my artists around the world. Artists often use these pencils in combination with other mediums. These mediums can vary from paints to pastels.

One of the most common types of color pencils that is used in the art world today is the watercolor pencil. Watercolor pencils are similar to watercolor paints. The pencils are often used in combination with water color paint in order to create a different effect.
